I wanted to share this recipe with you because well first of all its just plain delicious. End of story. Second you can use it now, freeze it for later and you could use it as a sauce, a dressing, to add a bit of zest to a soup, you name it. I was introduced to the sauce when I was attempting to make the Wicked Healthy King Satay with King Oyster Mushrooms. I’m not sure my first attempt at the mushrooms was a total success and the Ginger Sauce was the winner of the day for sure.

You’ll need a blender, high speed is best….

Spicy Ginger Peanut Sauce Wicked Healthy Style. Put everything into the blender, high speed is best for the smoothest silkiest sauce ever. If you want to make cooking vegan the best it can be, save your pennies and nickles for a high speed blender, don’t cheap out, buy a good one, its an investment in your life and your health.

Put all of the following ingredients straight into your blender, yes its that easy.

  • 1 c smooth nut butter – I used Almond
  • 1/3 c tamari or Bragg Soy Seasoning
  • 1/3 c freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 T fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 t smoked paprika
  • 1 Thai Chile, chopped or 1/4 – 1/2 t red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 – 1 c water (depending on the thickness you prefer)

Mix it together, start on slow, increase speed, temp and add water as necessary to achieve your preferred level of smooth.

Use it as a dip for satay, for grilled portobello mushrooms, in a salad, in a soup….use your imagination…. and thank me later. Check out the cookbook, its well worth the investment, many many recipes and many many useful pieces of information to help you be the best cook you can be.
