I’m slowly building up a bit of a library of amazing vegan cookbooks and I find them inspiring. Sometimes I make the recipes, sometimes I use the recipes as a stepping off point, sometimes I combine several ideas into one that works for me and sometimes I just like to look at the pretty pictures.

The Wicked Healthy Cookbook is going to be one that gets messy, things will get spilled on it, the pages will be worn with me looking through them and then spilling things on them as I cook up a storm.

What do I like about it? Well just let me tell you my top five things….

The Wicked Healthy Cookbook is more than a cookbook, it’s a resource for you, something you will go back to again and again for information, ideas and inspiration. Let’s support these guys and everyone else who is supporting a healthy loving vegan lifestyle.

OK, here are the top five things I like about The Wicked Healthy Cookbook:

  1. I like the whole sense of fun and not taking cooking too seriously, playing with food, experimenting….I think that’s important for us cooks
  2. I love the pages and pages of good information for any cook. Things like getting organized, stuff to have in your pantry,  how to build flavour, making it look good and much more….so much value in this book.
  3. They give us all sorts of ideas for hosting parties with pages like the Mac and Cheese Bar, how to make Bowls, the Oatmeal Bar and the Buddha Bowl to name a few. Make it how you like it!
  4. The pictures are inspiring, and they show us how to make a simple meal look stunning and so inviting
  5. I like that chefs are cool. These chefs are extra cool cause they are vegan and being vegan is pretty much the coolest thing out there. I love that!
