Delicious Chocolate Cake With Coconut Milk IceCream

My friend Lisa Chell shared this simple and quick chocolate cake recipe with me and I love that it is so easy to put together and the texture is perfect.  Feel free to add your favourite icing or serve with one of my indulgences Bliss Coconut Milk Ice cream. Sooooo good!!

Quick Chocolate Cake

What you’ll need:1540

1.5 cups unbleached all purpose flour

1 c sugar

3 T unsweetened cocoa

1 t baking soda

1/2 t salt

1 t vanilla

1 t vinegar

5 T vegetable oil

1 c cold water

In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt. Stir it up. Make 3 wells in the flour mixture. In one put the vanilla, the next the vinegar and the last put the oil. Pour the cold water over the mixture and stir until moistened. Pour into an 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until springs back lightly when touched.

Hint: I like to line my cake pan with parchment paper and then it makes it easy to take the cake out of the pan once its cooked and clean up is a breeze.
