Do you like sweets? How about peanut butter and chocolate? If so, this yummy chocolatey peanuty square is just for you. You’ll only need a small piece, cause its sweet! It also borders on healthy…right on the border with dates, nuts….well a couple of healthy ingredients.
You will make four layers, the crust, the middle, and the top. Cool your creation between each layer.

What you will need for your Yummy Peanut Chocolate Squares
Ingredients for the Crust
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 5 medjool dates
- Pinch salt
Making the Crust
- Mix in a food processor, set aside 1/2 cup for topping
- Spread evenly on a square pan.
- Cool in the fridge
Ingredients for the Middle
- 1 cup Peanut butter
- 1/2 cup salted Peanuts
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- 4 Dates, pit removed
- Pinch of Salt
Making the Middle
- Put all of the above ingredients in the food processor and blend till smooth.
- Spread on the base layer. Cool in fridge
Ingredients for the Top
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
- 1 cup of the crumbles from the leftover crust ingredients
Finishing the Square
- Spread the melted chocolate on top of the square and smooth it out
- Sprinkle extra crust mixture on top
- Cool in the fridge
- Cool, cut into squares to serve. Freezes well too!
