In a later post I will give you a list of what to buy for your pantry. You will find eventually that your shopping cart is going to look a lot different than most other shoppers. I love what’s in my cart, it feels so good to buy food that is nutritious, delicious and I didn’t have to hurt anyone or anything to get it either. A win win for everyone!

One of the first things I did was buy a couple great cookbooks. I know there are lots of things on-line, I still like the feel of a book and flipping through the pages to get some ideas.

There are so many amazing cookbooks out there. Below are a few of my favourites, I have many and I would love to buy even more! Find some you like and that appeal to your sense of what you like. They will be an inspiration for you to learn, try new things and to experiment. Have fun!

Ani’s Raw Foods Essentials – if you want to find out more about raw vegan, I would suggest Ani. She is well known in this area. http://www.aniphyo.com/
Crazy Sexy Kitchen– I love Kris Carr, I follow her blog and have two of her books, packed with great information and recipes. In this cookbook, I find a lot of wonderful recipes for entertaining. http://kriscarr.com/
Forks Over Knives – The have a video and now a cookbook with over 300 plant-based recipes to enjoy. http://www.forksoverknives.com/

Really just type in vegan or vegan recipes into Google and you will literally get millions of sites to explore. I just Googled vegan and got 144,000,000 results, then I tried vegan recipes and got 34,000,000 results. The info and support is out there, all you have to do is ask.
