Vegan Chocolate Mousse! Does life get any better?
This is one of the best desserts ever and the cool part is it’s so easy to make. There are lots of versions online and I’m not sure who to give the credit to!
After I made it my daughter and I were chatting about all the cool things you could do with it…like making little tarts or a vegan pie with this as one layer and then cashew cream as another layer with bananas. Awesome!
One thing is it is very rich so this recipe can make 6 servings…they seem small and they pack quite a punch in satisfaction!

Vegan Chocolate Mousse
What you’ll need to make your Vegan Chocolate Mousse
- 2 ripe avocados
- ½ c coco powder
- ½ c sweetener – I used coconut sugar
- ½ c coconut milk
- 1 t vanilla extract
- Coconut flakes (optional -for the topping)
How to make your Vegan Chocolate Mousse
Now this is the simplest recipe ever!!!
- Combine all ingredients into your food processor or blender (except coconut flakes)
- Blend till super creamy and smooth
- That’s it!
- Spoon into serving dishes.
- Place in fridge till ready to serve
- Sprinkle coconut flakes on top prior to serving. (optional)
You could add whipped cream, coconut flakes of course if you want. As I already mentioned this recipe is so rich you really don’t need anything else. Heaven!
