Do you love tahini? Do you love veggies? If so, this recipe is just for you. You might even want to eat it straight out of the bowl its that good. I know I was licking everything I spilled it on, I may have spilled in on purpose a couple times so I could lick it up!!!
I was wandering around on Facebook and came across an amazing recipe for a tahini influenced sauce with sweet potato and chick peas. It looked fantastic! I made my own tahini first, recipe on my blog, three simple ingredients and you are done or you can buy your tahini from the store. Once you have your tahini, this recipe will take you about 5 minutes to make. I promise you are gonna love it!

Saucy Tahini for Veggies
This sauce will take you about five minutes to take and only a few simple ingredients. You might want to double the recipe, my husband and I ate the whole recipe on two sweet potatoes. Its making me hungry just thinking about it!
What you will need to make your Saucy Tahini for Veggies:
- 1/4 c tahini (make it or buy it your choice)
- 2.5 T nutritional yeast
- one lemon juiced
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 t sea salt
- 3 T water (a little more, a little less, depends how thick or thin you like your sauce)
How to make your Saucy Tahini for Veggies:
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl except for the water and stir
together
- Now add your water a bit at a time and whisk away until you get the consistency you prefer. Work hard and make it nice and creamy.
- Pour on cooked veggies, potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad…whatever your little heart desires.
