Vegan BBQ Sauce

Vegan BBQ Sauce.
Do you like BBQ sauce on your veggie burgers or dogs?
How about the special sauce they use in fast food joints when they put your burger or hot dog all together? What if they were both vegan too!
Well you are in luck, cause below are two awesome recipes to take your BBQ to the next level!
We all know home-made sauces rock! You can make either of these sauces in about two minutes! Does life get any better? I think not!
OK, let’s get it going…..
BBQ Sauce

I love to make my own BBQ sauce. Now I gotta warn you this is not a science, more of an art and the measurements are approximate. You’ll know what’s right for you.
What you need for your home made BBQ sauce:
- 3/4 c of Ketchup
Can you see the yummyness of the homemade BBQ sauce on these delicious vegan burgers. (recipe on blog) - 3-4 T Brown sugar
- 2 T Dijon mustard
- 3 T Bragg Soy Seasoning
- 10-15 drops of Liquid Smoke
Liquid smoke – a way to add a smokey taste to foods – vegan friendly. - ¼ t Ground ginger (optional)

How to make your home made BBQ sauce:
- Put it all in a bowl and whisk it up!
- Taste, if you like it you’re done.
Vegan Special Sauce

You can put this sauce on anything..burgers, veggie dogs, burritos, quesadilla…use your imagination.
What you’ll need for your home-made special sauce:
- 3/4 c vegan mayo
This is my favourite store bought vegan mayo. I also have a terrific recipe for mayo on the blog. Check it out! 2 T ketchup
2 T relish
2 T apple cider vinegar
1 t lemon juice
salt + pepper to taste
How to make your special sauce:
- Put it all in a bowl and whisk it up!
The special sauce getting mixed up. Keep leftover sauce in fridge for a week or two. - Taste, if you like it you’re done.
- If you don’t like it, add a little more of whatever you think it needs
When you’re making up your bun, spread on as much as you like! Delicious
